Gabrielle Vieyres

Gabrielle Vieyres uses high-resolution microscopy backed up by quantitative and automated image analysis to unravel virus interplay with host LDs. In particular, her work identified the LD lipase ATGL and its co-factor ABHD5 as key host factors sustaining HCV morphogenesis, thereby linking LD lipolysis to virion assembly.
